Professional Seed Germination Protocol

Selection: Only use seeds that are within 3-6 months of harvest to ensure maximum embryo vitality.

Pre-Soaking (Crucial): Soak the parchment seeds in clean, room temperature water for 24 to 48 hours. This softens the parchment and triggers the “awakening” of the embryo. Discard any “floaters.”

Parchment Removal (Optional but Effective): For faster germination, the outer parchment (endocarp) can be carefully removed by hand. This reduces germination time by 1-2 weeks.

Place a layer of seeds between thick, damp (not soaking) paper towels or lint free cloth.

Store in a dark, warm place (approx. 25-28°C) inside a sealed plastic container to maintain 100% humidity.
